Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara: A Bold New Look
Maruti Suzuki‘s new e-Vitara looks strikingly similar to the eVX concept. The design carries over many features, though some sharp edges have been softened. The front and rear sport the signature tri-slash LED daytime running lights. Charging ports are conveniently located at the front edges. Plus, the rear door handle moves to the C-pillar, just like the old Swift.
Tata Sierra EV: Spacious & Stylish
The Tata Sierra EV promises a spacious and stylish cabin. Inside, it features a dual digital screen, a four-spoke steering wheel, and a sleek center console with touch buttons. The rear seats are designed to slide and recline for extra comfort. While the official specs are still under wraps, it’s expected to offer two battery options, ranging from 60 kWh to 80 kWh. The SUV could deliver an impressive range of 500 km on a single charge.
Tata Harrier EV: Power Meets Performance
The upcoming Tata Harrier EV will be the first electric vehicle from Tata to offer a twin-motor setup and an all-wheel-drive system. With different terrain modes, including Normal, Snow, Sand, Rock, and Grass, it’s ready for any adventure. While we await more details on the battery and powertrain, it’s rumored to offer a 500 km range on a single charge, similar to the Sierra EV.
Vayve Eva: India’s First Solar-Powered EV
Vayve Mobility, a Pune-based electric vehicle start-up, is making waves with its Vayve Eva. This solar-powered electric car will be showcased at the India Mobility Expo. The prototype was first unveiled at the last Auto Expo, and now it’s ready to make its public debut. It’s designed with daily city commutes in mind, offering a practical solution for short trips. It claims to be India’s first solar-powered electric car.
